When you have questions about medical and health issues, where can you turn? Your doctor is your best health resource, but doesn’t have unlimited time to answer questions. The Internet is a powerful source of information, and may be difficult to determine if the medical advice is sound and accurate for your situation.
Fortunately, Los Banos has a wonderful, local health care resource in Memorial Hospital Los Banos. The MHLB website offers access to health information 24 hours a day and is accessible to the entire community.
In support of their community-based, not-for profit mission, MHLB provides various health-related events, classes and support groups, most of which are free of charge.
MHLB events include a Gala Celebration, Women's Health Fair and a Children's Health Fair.
Information is power, and the more that you understand about the issues affecting your health and the health of your loved ones, the more empowered you will be to make informed health care and lifestyle choices.
